Ex-F1 driver makes a weird ‘losing your virginity’ remark over Oliver Bearman’ 2025 stint with Haas
Oliver Bearman has secured consecutive points in his outings for the teams of Ferrari and Haas this season.

Former Australian F1 racer Mark Webber has made an uncharacteristic remark with regards to British youngster Oliver Bearman. The latter will make his full-fledged debut with the Haas F1 team in 2025, having signed a deal earlier this year.
Oliver Bearman is a talented driver with great skills and promise on track. He made his first runs at Jeddah this year for Ferrari where he finished P7. He also raced recently for Haas at Baku securing points for them as well.

Mark Webber has however shown his discontent towards Haas F1 in singing Bearman for 2025. Webber claimed that a young driver must be nurtured by experienced team principals to develop proper skills for the sport.

Oliver Bearman recalls almost missing out on Ferrari drive at Jeddah
Ferrari chose Oliver Bearman as a replacement for Carlos Sainz who pulled out of the 2024 Saudi Arabia GP due to illness. The 19-year-old has since shared his story of almost missing out on his dream call-up earlier this season.

My manager ran out of credit on his phone or something, so he couldn’t take the call. I almost missed the race because my manager didn’t top his minutes! Then I called right back because I had enough data, thank god, and he (Vasseur) told me the news that I would be racing for Ferrari this weekend.

The British driver recalls that his manager was unable to take the Maranello-based team’s call due to an issue with the phone. Bearman claimed that he then called up the team’s management to receive the much-awaited message.
F1 has witnessed the promotion of Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Jack Doohan, and Oliver Bearman to race for Mercedes, Alpine, and Haas next year. The upcoming season will therefore be an exciting match-up between the young guns and the experienced drivers.
