Renowned F1 pundit Martin Brundle has claimed that the reigning world champion Max Verstappen will be at Red Bull for the near future, despite rumors. Verstappen has been heavily linked with speculation to join Mercedes in 2025.

Max Verstappen is currently on a contract with the Milton-Keynes outfit until the end of th 2028 F1 season. However, internal feuds within the team gave rise to rumors of the Dutchman seeking a move away from the outfit.

In contrast to this, Martin Brundle has said that Verstappen is set to stay with Red Bull until at least until the end of 2026. During the early part of 2024 it came out that the three-time world champion could possibly leave in case Red Bull’s Technical Advisor Helmut Marko departs from the team.

There’s talk that Max Verstappen could leave the team if Helmut Marko left Red Bull. My understanding is all of that paperwork has changed and that can’t happen - at least until 2026. Max is nailed on there.
Martin Brundle told SkySports F1

Verstappen has since come out in public, committing to his future with the Milton-Keynes outfit on several occasions. He will now hope to secure many more wins and titles with the team in the coming years.

Andrew Shovlin provides insights on George Russell’s underweight W15 at Belgian GP

The car can lose quite a lot of weight during the race. You get tyre wear, plank wear, brake wear, oil consumption. The driver themselves can lose a lot, and in this particular race George lost quite a bit of weight.

Shovlin claimed that George Russell‘s W15 suffered greater tyre and plank wear during the race at Spa. Russell opted to race for the entirety of the 44 laps at Spa-Francorchamps on a single pit stop strategy.

Since news of the Brit’s disqualification emerged, many have suspected Mercedes’ deliberation in making illegal changes to his W15. The Silver Arrows have, however, been at the top of their game lately and will be keen on performing the same way after the summer break.
