Max Verstappen and George Russell have dominated the headlines in Abu Dhabi for all the wrong reasons. They have carried forward their saga from Qatar, which is very much the main topic being discussed in the F1 paddock.

Amidst the ongoing war of words between Max Verstappen and George Russell, the Ex-F1 driver turned pundit Martin Brundle has given his take. He genuinely feels that Verstappen has become the master in handling situations on and off the racing track.

So, how I see this is that Max has ramped up the aggression on the track and ramped up playing the victim off the track, and it’s working, because he’s got everybody on the run. He’s got everybody on edge, whether it’s media, whether it’s other teams, whether it’s particularly other drivers.

Russell and Verstappen have come up with some extremely strong remarks against each other in Abu Dhabi. Several people have been left shocked by their antics, and the situation is so bad that even their team principals have jumped into the verbal battlefield.

While Martin Brundle has made strong remarks about Verstappen and his way of doing things, another pundit, Danica Patrick, has also shared her thoughts. Moreover, she has gone back to the Qatar incident from where the feud between Verstappen and Russell first began.

Ultimately, that was Max’s fault for being on-line. Now, maybe the only thing the team could have done was communicate, perhaps, where everybody was on the track.

The Qatar GP qualifying incident has blown out of proportion between Verstappen and Russell. Moreover, the drivers aren’t on talking terms with each other, and an example of this was seen at the end-of-season drivers’ dinner in Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi weekend has qualifying slated to take place today. Keeping this in view, it will be in the best interest of everyone if Russell and Verstappen don’t lock horns in any way on the track. They both are expected to be in Q3 and fireworks could once again go off if one somehow ends up impeding the other.
