Max Verstappen confesses 2024 ‘F1 Championships are unrealistic’ following MEDIOCRE Italian Grand Prix

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen finished P6 after an unsatisfactory outing in Monza on Sunday. The Milton-Keynes-based team has now failed to extend its lead in the constructors’ championship for the fourth race in a row.
Max Verstappen has looked vulnerable against the likes of Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes over the past few races. Despite amassing the most wins this season, he now faces the threat of losing out on the drivers’ championship.
Verstappen has since reflected on the Milton-Keynes-based outfit’s chances after a mediocre run around Monza. The Dutchman believes that winning the 2024 drivers’ and constructors’ championships will be an extremely tough challenge.

The three-time world champion wants his team to make significant changes to the RB20 in order to perform in the upcoming races. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be another stern test of Verstappen and Red Bull’s chances of amassing both the championships this year.
Helmut Marko reveals plans to improve Red Bull’s performance after Italian GP
Red Bull Technical Advisor Helmut Marko was in dismay after the team’s lackluster performance in Monza. Marko has since necessitated the need to find solutions to the RB20’s issues ahead of the race at Baku.
We know we have huge problems and this doesn't help. We have to go back and find the point where we made a wrong turn so we can get the balance in the car. And then hopefully things will look better again.Helmut Marko told ORF
Helmut Marko talked of the persistent issues with the RB20’s balance over the past few races. The 81-year-old has also claimed that bigger problems lie within the team’s setup, which need to be resolved immediately.
Verstappen complained of excessive tire wear during his runs at the Italian GP, which can also be an issue of concern for them. The Milton-Keynes-based team’s decisions will now be a direct reflection of their performances in the remaining races of 2024.
