The commencement of the 2026 season is right around the corner as multiple teams reveal their challengers for the new regulations. Among other teams, Red Bull has unveiled their car and is looking forward to carrying forward their positive momentum from the 2025 season. However, Max Verstappen, who is actively involved in his sim-racing project as well, reveals how it wouldn’t be easy to hide his other activities apart from F1.

Max Verstappen is a true racer through and through. The Dutchman recently participated in the GT3 Series and achieved success in his very first outing. Moreover, his sim racing team, Redline, boasted multiple victories throughout the 2025 season as well. As such, Verstappen is looking forward to not only racing in F1 but also in various other facets as well.

In a recent Twitch live-stream, Max Verstappen claimed that he felt very good and relaxed because he couldn’t figure out the competitiveness for Red Bull under the new regulations. Though Verstappen is confident that teams will spend more time in the garage than on-track during the initial testing sessions. As such, he did not stress much and was looking forward to the challenge of the new regulations.

For myself, I feel good. I’m still very relaxed because you can’t really know at the moment, of course, how competitive you’re going to be. So, yeah, we’ll see. I’m pretty chilled; I don’t stress too much because it’s bad for you, and it’s not going to change the result anyway.

Max Verstappen said on a Twitch Stream (H&T: racingnews365).

Apart from his F1 duties, Max Verstappen was also excited about the GT3 project. The Dutchman shockingly revealed that he was investing a lot of time and energy into his other projects away from Formula 1. As such, Verstappen acknowledged that he couldn’t hide his activities. The four-time F1 champ aims to fight at the forefront in whichever category he races in.

And besides that, yeah, I’m very excited, of course, about the GT3 project as well. I’m trying to invest a lot of time into really making it a success. Also, being a Pro line-up this year, you cannot hide anymore. You need to fight up front — that’s the target.

Max Verstappen reveals ‘big passion’ away from F1

Max Verstappen is certainly an all-rounder when it comes to motorsport. The Dutchman, who previously claimed that he was intent on his F1 achievements, still has a passion for motorsport like no other. Max Verstappen asserted that he was trying to keep improving every time he stepped out of the car. Besides F1 and GT3, the sim racing programme was a priority for the 28-year-old as well. Verstappen pointed out that he was excited about this project all the time, as it remained a big passion for him.

But of course, with that comes a lot of preparation, which we are in the middle of. And yeah, just trying to keep improving every time we go out with the car. Besides that, of course, the sim racing programme — I’m very excited about that all the time anyway because it’s a big passion of mine.

Max Verstappen noted.

The 2026 season is right around the corner, and Max Verstappen certainly has a lot of things planned for the coming season. Despite his interests, he will have to show up to every F1 race weekend and plan his other excursions during the week away from the sport.
