Max Verstappen is an extremely loving person when it comes to kids. The Dutchman is often spotted spending quality time with his girlfriend’s daughter Penelope off the track. Hence, following a five-year-old Karting Prodigy’s visit to the Qatar GP weekend, Verstappen shared an adorable moment with the kid.

The Turkish prodigy Zayn Sofuoglu has already achieved multiple notable awards at just five years of age. The karting champion unofficially became the fastest five-year-old in the world after driving a Lamborghini Revuelto at very high speeds. Hence, Max Verstappen was equally as excited about meeting the Turkish sprout at the circuit.

Verstappen clicked pictures with Sofuoglu and had a small conversation about racing. The Dutchman further guided the kid to the Red Bull garage after the latter said yes to the opportunity. Moreover, Verstappen reckoned that the five-year-old had the potential to become the world champion in the next 15 years.

He’s driving my car! Want to go to the garage? Why not, right, Zayn becomes a champion? Maybe in like 14-15 years.

Max Verstappen is infamous for his hilarious quips and anecdotes while talking to the media. However, the Dutchman is usually spotted in and around the grid strictly in a Red Bull jersey. The 27-year-old was funnily spotted donning a casual outfit at the Qatar GP following his fourth championship win at the Las Vegas GP.

Oh yeah! Without team kit.

Following Verstappen’s championship victory, the Dutchman can now ease up performances and enjoy the final two races. Red Bull’s disastrous pace has caused the team to dwindle far down in the constructors’ championship. However, the 27-year-old will give it his all to attempt to improve the team’s position in the pecking order.

The 2024 season has peaked in excitement and competition as Verstappen defied all odds and performed well. The season finale is right around the corner and the Dutchman would be glad to put the tough season behind him. Moreover, the preparations for the upcoming season will start as soon as possible to recover from a tumultuous 2024 season.
