Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has stood strong in his approach towards racing in Formula 1. The 27-year-old has been under scrutiny several times this season due to his aggressive style of driving.
Max Verstappen is well-known for being a hard and fast racer ever since his early days at the pinnacle of motorsport. His techniques have been effective extensively over the years but have also been sometimes risky to the other drivers.
The Dutchman has since claimed that he does not care about the opinions and observations made by those who criticize him. Verstappen believes in pushing to the limits of a car and driving within the declared set of rules.
Honestly, even if they did, first of all, I don’t care because I drive to what I think is possible and what is allowed in the rules. And if the rules are written like that, I will use the rules. If that would have happened to me the other way around, I don’t think I would have been the person to complain so hard because I would just think, OK, if that’s the rules, that’s how we do it, instead of screaming that we need to change the rules.

Verstappen now heads into the last three races having won the Sao Paolo GP starting from P17 on the grid. With the lead of the drivers’ championship in his cuff, the Dutchman will look to focus on winning the rest of the races as well.
Max Verstappen expects Las Vegas GP to be more complicated than other races
The Las Vegas Grand Prix is the final street circuit race this year. Street circuits have been the boon for teams such as Ferrari while being the bane for Red Bull. Heading into the race, Max Verstappen has shared his thoughts on the team’s approach this weekend.

Here [in Las Vegas], the weather is so different with the tire temperatures that it is very important to understand the tires and how they work or to make sure you work well on both compounds you use in the race. It’s probably a bit more complicated than on the other race weekends.

Verstappen has claimed that tire temperatures will be a key factor in determining the pace of different teams this weekend. The Las Vegas GP is held in predominantly cooler weather conditions, which might pose a hindrance to the Milton Keynes-based team.
Red Bull’s issues have been prevalent for the past 14 months. The team has struggled to find grip and pace around tracks that employ a significant number of kerbs and bumps. While a fair bit of the issue might be resolved, a lot still remains to be addressed by the champions.
