Red Bull’s struggles mid-way through the 2024 season have caused problems for Max Verstappen. The Dutchman is unable to score victories amidst the performance slump. However, the team has worked over the summer break and is hoping to return to their winning ways.

The upcoming Dutch GP would provide Max Verstappen with a great opportunity to start the latter half of the 2024 season right. Verstappen reckoned that there was always a great atmosphere at his home race. As a result, the Zandvoort circuit was a special event for the reigning world champion.

There is always a fantastic atmosphere at Zandvoort and the fans are great. It is therefore a special race for me.

Apart from this, Verstappen highlighted the aspects of the Zandvoort circuit ahead of the event. The 26-year-old claimed that he hoped for a great comeback in performance over the race weekend. Additionally, he aims to compete for the win with Red Bull after working on some upgrades on the chassis.

It's a great, narrow circuit with short straights. Hopefully we can come back strong there. We are looking forward to the week ahead and hopefully we can compete for the win.

The summer break has provided Max Verstappen with a great reset amidst the struggling pace. The Dutchman claimed it was nice to spend some time with friends and family. Additionally, he declared that he was ready for the second half, especially beginning with his home race.

It was very nice to be able to relax and spend some time with friends and family during the summer break. We are ready for the start of the second half of the season. And it's great that the first race is immediately my home race.

Red Bull has continued to work on its failing performance to fend off against its in-form rivals. The 2024 season has put forth great competition and excitement, especially at the forefront. Hence, the remainder of the season will witness the team trying to revive their lost performance.
