Following a more difficult weekend in Monaco, this week I have been with the team back at the factory and in the sim preparing for the Canadian Grand Prix.

The three-time world champion claimed that the Canadian GP is a unique track with plenty of old school kerbs and spaces for overtaking. Kerbs have become a problem for Red Bull. As such, Max Verstappen emphasized that Red Bull needed to find the right set-up to ensure that it has ample straight line speed for the race.

The track is very unique, has some old school kerbs and there are plenty opportunities for overtaking. It's even more important to have a good set up of the car and find a balance between the straight line speeds as well as good stability under the braking.

Checo admitted that Red Bull had a disaster of a race at the Monaco GP. The 34-year-old claimed that it was a poor performance in Qualifying which ruined the team’s weekend. This was something that Milton Keynes needed to improve in Montreal. Sergio Perez reckoned that a good result in Quali would allow the team to have a much simpler weekend.

While the race was a disaster in Monaco, we were in the wrong grid position due to a poor qualifying and we need to solve that in Montreal. The team and I want to be starting at the front of the grid come race day and the aim is to make our lives a lot simpler this weekend.
Sergio Perez stated

Certainly, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez might be feeling the pressure to perform in Montreal this weekend. Red Bull is slowly losing its lead in the standings to its rivals. As such, fans would be hoping that the two drivers manage to put in a solid performance in the Canadian GP this weekend.
