Max Verstappen claims Red Bull have ‘lot of work’ to do to improve in second half of 2024
Max Verstappen believes that Red Bull still has a lot of work to do to improve performance down the 2024 season.

Red Bull has started to struggle in terms of performance in the 2024 season. Milton Keynes had scored a great start to the 2024 season. However, the chassis is facing major balance and grip issues over the race weekends. Hence, Max Verstappen reckoned that the team had a lot of work to improve the chassis’ performance.
Max Verstappen had been very vocal regarding his discontent with the chassis’ performance on multiple occasions. Regardless, the 26-year-old continued to score impressive results in a mediocre chassis. Reflecting upon the British GP, Verstappen claimed that the race was ‘tricky’ despite the right calls. As a result, the Austrian constructor had a lot to work on and improve in terms of performance.

Silverstone was a tricky race for us: although we made all the right calls, we still have a lot to work and improve on going into the second half of the season.Max Verstappen said during an interview.
Additionally, Red Bull has been continuously working on improving the performance of the chassis. Hence, Verstappen mentioned that he visited the factory and used the sim to prepare for the upcoming Hungarian GP. Milton Keynes can potentially score a turnaround in their performance and once again dominate the playing field.
I have been back at the factory with the Team on the sim preparing for the upcoming race, which has been good.Max Verstappen added.
Max Verstappen claimed he was ‘looking forward’ to racing at the ‘interesting layout’ of the Hungarian GP
Max Verstappen had a great time in his previous outing at the Hunagrian GP after winning the race in a dominant manner. Hence, the 26-year-old noted that the Hungaroring was an ‘interesting track’ as he was looking forward to racing there. Additionally, Verstappen noted that the circuit was supposed to be a bit warmer as well.

Apart from this, the Dutchman recalled the previous Hungarian GP and hoped to score a great race amidst the struggling pace of Red Bull.

Red Bull is still in the lead despite the failing performances in the recent races. Hence, Milton Keynes will have to quickly work over their issues and start to score race victories over the race weekend. The 2024 season will put forth a highly exciting battle towards the end for the championship.
