Max Verstappen declares long-term loyalty to Red Bull despite rumored interest from rival teams
Max Verstappen asserted that he wanted to continue to build a strong bond with Red Bull despite the team's performance slump.

Max Verstappen and Red Bull have formed one of the most successful pairings in F1 history. The Dutch driver is contracted to the team till at least the end of 2028. Now, Verstappen has responded to speculations of potentially moving to a different team in the future.
During the Singapore GP weekend, Max Verstappen was asked if he did have a contract clause to leave Red Bull. The reigning world champion gave an interesting response and left fans wondering. The 26-year-old further highlighted that he has been part of the Red Bull family for a long time. However, the Dutch driver admitted that everyone wants to win in F1 and could swap teams easily to achieve this target. It must be noted that Aston Martin is rumored to be interested in poaching Verstappen from Red Bull.

The three-time world champion made it clear that he did not want to keep jumping ship in his career. Rather, Max Verstappen claimed that he wanted to continue to build a strong bond with Red Bull in the coming years to feel ‘at home’ within the team.

The Dutch driver highlighted that he wasn’t looking to switch teams at this stage of his career. Moreover, Max Verstappen claimed that the next step he takes would be his final step in F1. The three-time world champion reckoned that his last step could even be another extension with Red Bull. Although, no decision has been made so far.

Certainly, Max Verstappen’s comments show that the 26-year-old wants to publicly express his support to Red Bull. The three-time world champion has raced for Milton Keynes in F1 since 2016. As such, Verstappen wants to continue to build his legacy with the Milton Keynes-based squad.
