Red Bull driver Max Verstappen finished P5 at the Las Vegas Grand Prix to win the fourth consecutive drivers’ title of his career. With two races to go, the Dutchman now has a margin of 64 points at the top of the title charts.

Max Verstappen‘s season has been one full of ups and downs. He started in a dominant manner, amassing seven wins in the first ten races. However, the 27-year-old has since struggled to perform and was winless for months until his victory at Interlagos.

As Verstappen crossed the finish line in Las Vegas, a sense of emotion and ecstasy overtook the Dutchman. He was inevitably emotional on the radio to his team and his race engineer, having secured the title after a long year.

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner applauded Max Verstappen after a championship-winning run this season. Horner was proud of his team and the Dutchman, knowing the shortfalls they faced during the course of the year.

Christian Horner said that Verstappen has driven bodly overcoming harships and issues like a lion this year. The 50-year-old further said that the four-time world champion has shown immense class both as a driver and a human this year.

Red Bull now stands third in the constructors’ championship behind Ferrari and McLaren. With only 49 points separating the top three, the title race leads into the final races of the season. The teams’ primary ambition will now be to secure maximum points out of Qatar and Abu Dhabi here on.
