Max Verstappen, who has successfully claimed the championship this year, looks forward to ending the season on a high, Having won the last race in Qatar, his sights will now be set on claiming the win at Abu Dhabi this week as well.
Former F1 driver praises Max Verstappen after Qatar GP win
Former Dutch racing driver Giedo van der Garde gave in to Max Verstappen’s praise after the latter won in Lusail. Verstappen turned around a weak result at a Qatar GP Sprint to a strong race-winning run last Sunday.
Van Der Garde has praised Verstappen’s ability to focus and deliver good runs irrespective of his recreations outside the track. He claims that the Dutch driver was plainly strong against others during the Qatar GP.
The Dutch driver’s efforts, despite being consistent, have not been enough for Red Bull to claim the constructors’ title in 2024. Heading into the next season, he will aim to secure both the titles hand in hand.
