Formula 1 heads to Mexico this weekend. The Mexican GP is one of the most hyped races on the calendar as it is the home Grand Prix of Sergio Perez. Perez’s teammate Max Verstappen expressed his excitement over the weekend.
The three-time world champion highlighted that the race in Mexico City is always great. Moreover, Max Verstappen mentioned that Sergio Perez‘s fans create an incredible atmosphere every year. Checo even mentioned he has high ambitions this weekend.

Moreover, Verstappen pointed out that the Mexico City Circuit is the highest race track on the F1 calendar. As such, teams need to do more adjustments to the cars. Max Verstappen noted that Red Bull has had a good record at this race.
The track is at such a high altitude, which you do need to adjust to a bit more, but we have historically done well here and I have always enjoyed driving at this track.

Sergio Perez is thrilled to race in his home country this weekend. The 34-year-old claimed that the Mexican GP race is the biggest race for him on the F1 calendar. Checo expects this weekend to be ‘crazy’ after receiving massive support in Austin.

Certainly, fans would want Sergio Perez to have a good race in Mexico. However, Max Verstappen remains the likely Red Bull who will fight for victory. Perez needs to step up his performance to ensure that his seat remains safe for 2025.
