Ex-F1 team owner offers advice to Red Bull to salvage Max Verstappen’s season
Former Jordan team owner Eddie Jordan has shed light on Red Bull’s form after the previous race at Monza. The Milton-Keynes-based team is no longer the favorite to win the constructors’ championship as McLaren has closed the gap to eight points.
All engineers come into the boardroom, and we will have a heart-to-heart about exactly where we are. What was the set-up we had at the beginning of the season? What was the set-up when we were winning races by 15 seconds and were cruising? What has changed?Eddie Jordan said on the Formula for Success podcast
Jordan claims that Red Bull needs to inspect the setup arrangements of the RB20 in order to resolve their issues. He further insisted that a fuller discussion in a hearty manner would yield better results for the outfit.
The RB20 has severely underperformed on tracks that feature excessive kerb riding and longer straights. Despite claims that these issues have carried over from the past, the team remains clueless regarding a permanent fix so far.
