Max Verstappen and Red Bull faced an unexpected outcome at the Hungarian GP. However, the Dutchman is looking forward to the next destination, Belgium. Verstappen had captured decent success at the Spa-Francorchamps. He admitted the team had noted some key takeaways from their last setback, and they’re ready to avoid those mistakes in Belgium.

Max Verstappen in an interview admitted he loves racing at the Spa-Francorchamps international circuit. He highlighted that the circuit has many fast corners and it brings plenty of opportunities to overtake. The Dutchman stated it’s very exciting and enjoyable to race in Belgium, because the fast corners challenge his driving skills, and the many overtaking opportunities make the races unpredictable and thrilling. Spa is the combination of perfect elements of speed and strategy, which is favorite of Verstappen.

The Dutchman also appreciated the supporters at Spa. He stated they are very enthusiastic and offer a lot of support to him. This positive atmosphere adds to his enjoyment of the track. The 26-year-old mentioned that last weekend’s Hungarian GP was a challenging race for him. Things didn’t go as they planned at that race and the weekend was full of problems. Verstappen stated that it was a race for him to put behind and focus on the upcoming challenges to perform better.

Max Verstappen mentioned that Red Bull had been working very hard to make his car fast and drivable. He stated they’ve been fine-tuning every detail to get the best performance out of the car. However, the weather can be unpredictable and can change quickly, which adds an extra challenge. Despite these challenges, Red Bull is prepared to adapt to whatever conditions come their way during the race.

Verstappen highlighted that since the Belgian GP is the last race before the summer break, the team is working very hard with lot of effort. He mentioned the team is looking forward to taking a well-deserved rest after this. This break will ensure them to recharge and come back even stronger for the rest of the season. Currently, they are focused on doing their best in this weekend’s race. Red Bull want to deliver the best result possible and finish on a high note before the break.
