Max Verstappen shares a deep sense of love for animals and especially Cats and Dogs. This is made even more evident by his large family of pets, including three cats and one Dachshund puppy named Nino. The Dutchman had revealed Nino during a livestream as the pet dog was spotted notoriously accompanying Verstappen. Now, the 27-year-old has revealed yet another hilarious detail about the mischiefs of his four-legged friends.

Max Verstappen recently became a father to his beautiful little daughter Lily, as she will be raised amongst some loving pets. The Dutchman had already fathered three different cats alongside a dog, Nino, whom he adopted earlier this year. During his time away from F1, Verstappen is often spotted livestreaming different games, mainly sim racing on Twitch. The loving pets have made several cameos during his said streams as well.

Now, Verstappen ponders a hilarious activity of his Dachshund puppy Nino, who is not too fond of the cats for now. The Dutchman highlighted that Nino is a sweet little soul and doesn’t cause much trouble to him or others. However, the reigning world champion openly admitted that the little puppy was sometimes a menace to the cats, as he ‘terrorized’ them.

Nino’s actually very sweet, to be honest. He does terrorize the cats a bit.

Max Verstappen said on a media day interview

Max Verstappen is often disturbed during his livestreams by not only his loving step-daughter Penelope, but also his loving cats. While Nino is just a little puppy and can wreak havoc at times, Verstappen points out that he simply tries to sit on his lap while sim racing. However, the problem comes when the cats try to mimic the puppy and sit on the Dutchman’s lap. This has caused the cats to sometimes be stuck between the pedals and cause the cat-dad some trouble and worry.

Nino has tried to sit on my lap while I race, but the cats try that as well. Sometimes I have a cat stuck between the pedals.

Max Verstappen reveals hilarious choice in music during Twitch livestream

Max Verstappen is a person who doesn’t really indulge in music much or prefers to listen to a specific set of songs. While some drivers have tried their hand at creating and composing music, Verstappen remains indifferent towards music. The Dutchman has revealed a hilarious pick in music that he would like to listen to while doing donuts on the F1 track or during the sim racing.

Verstappen has a sure-shot but funny answer towards the playlist of music that he would like to listen to while cracking out donuts on the track. The reigning world champion hilariously answers that he would like to listen to V10 engines. This answer from the 27-year-old is particularly funny due to F1’s recent back-and-forth with bringing back the naturally aspirated engines in the pinnacle of motorsport.

V10 engines.

The 2025 season of Formula 1 has remained full of challenges for Verstappen as his pets and family help him relax from the struggles in the sport. The Dutchman hasn’t given up on performances this year as he aims to bridge the gap to the rivals at the forefront in the coming races. Apart from the sport, the 27-year-old might want to relax from adopting any more pets, as he will have to take care of Lily, too, now.
