Max Verstappen not wasting time over media speculation in F1
Max Verstappen didn't want to waste his time anymore over 'bizarre' media speculation regarding his future in Formula 1.

Max Verstappen is famously known on the Formula 1 grid for his cold and fierce demeanor. The Dutchman doesn’t hesitate to speak exactly what he’s thinking about a situation when asked about it. Hence, amidst the ongoing media speculation about his future in the sport, Verstappen made it clear that he wasn’t wasting his time caring about that stuff.
Max Verstappen noted that he found such stories from people ‘bizarre’ and questioned how they came up with such theories. However, Verstappen showcased his cold attitude and claimed ‘it is what it is’ to such people. The Dutchman believed that all these stories were part of the game and usually ignored the comments from such people.
People always come up with different stuff, I find it really bizarre how they come up with some of these things, but it is what it is. It’s part of the game, but I usually just let it go.

In addition to this, Verstappen highlighted that he had been in the sport for too long to care about such petty comments. The Dutchman had debuted with Toro Rosso (RB) back in 2015 and hasn’t looked back ever since. Verstappen didn’t want to ‘waste’ his time on such stories and barely read anything related to Formula 1 during his off-time.
I’ve been in F1 for 10 years now and I’m not wasting time on all those stories. I barely read anything about F1 anyway.

Max Verstappen doesn’t ‘care’ about ‘what other people say’
Multiple individuals continued to conspire about Max Verstappen’s future in Formula 1 with Red Bull amidst a dwindling pace. Upon people crafting such stories, Verstappen felt that everyone was entitled to their opinions and say what they wanted. Hence, this meant that the 27-year-old didn’t care much about what such people had to say.
Sometimes I see something or someone else tells me: Did you see what this and that person said?’ But I always say people can think what they want, I’m not going to waste my energy on that. So, I don’t really care about what other people say.

Red Bull’s struggle in the 2024 season has rendered Verstappen unable to compete for the race wins anymore. However, the Dutchman must buckle up for the six remaining races in order to fend off against the in-form Lando Norris. The end-of-the-season battle will put forth a highly interesting contingency at the pinnacle of motorsport.
