We had a bad pitstop, strategy wise we didn't optimize it as well, some did a one-stop, I think our two-stop wasn't the best, for most of the race we also couldn't race full engine power because there was a problem, so all-in-all, it was just a bad race.

Verstappen foremostly repented on the poor strategic decisions made by the Milton-Keynes outfit during the race. He then claimed that the RB20’s engine faced issues that hindered his ability to utilize maximum power output at Monza.

The RB20 will now require more suitable upgrades to match the pace of McLaren and Ferrari. Verstappen will hope to make strong efforts in the upcoming races if he wishes to claim the world championship this season as well.
