Max Verstappen had emerged victorious at the Emillia Romagna GP with Lando Norris trailing within a second behind the Red Bull driver. Verstappen, after consecutively disappointing practice rounds qualified at pole position and went on to win the round. Following the feat, the Dutchman is all set to achieve his personal hat trick at the street track of Monaco ahead of the upcoming race.

The three-time world champion expressed his concerns regarding the physical and mental demands of the track. Max Verstappen mentioned the need to lead a good qualifying as the close road circuit makes overtaking an almost impossible task. The team is in dire need to unlock maximum potential from the RB20 on street track of Monaco.

Recalling the track to be quite demanding, the three-time world champion expressed the need to unwind before giving his best. With the tight turns and narrower roads the track presents itself with somewhat of a difficulty to the drivers. Max Verstappen, felt happy to be able to recharge in the comfort of his home.

Monaco is always an incredibly demanding and hectic weekend, so it was nice to go home, relax and recharge before the race. It's always nice to be able to go home in the evening, being so close to home.
