Max Verstappen claims Red Bull wasn’t the ‘fastest’ on team radio after clinching victory at Spanish GP
Max Verstappen claimed that Red Bull managed to win in Barcelona despite not having the fastest car this weekend.

Max Verstappen emerged victorious Spanish GP, starting the race from second position behind Lando Norris. Verstappen reckoned his team was not the fastest among the front runners at the beginning, but with perfect timings he managed to achieve success.
Max Verstappen clinched his seventh win of the season this weekend. The Dutchman was very happy after the race. He expressed his satisfaction on the team radio. The 26-year-old reckoned Red Bull was not the quickest today, but still they managed to win with their strategy. This simply showed careful planning and strategies can be just as important as speed in racing.

Verstappen received cheerful messages from the team on the radio after winning the race. Verstappen’s race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase expressed that it was all hard work that paid off for Verstappen and he races for himself to clinch the victory. The radio appreciated the 26-year-old for overtaking George Russell two laps later was a good job done by him. Team Red Bull also achieved the fastest pitstop of the season, completing Verstappen’s pit in just 1.9 seconds.

Christian Horner congratulates Max Verstappen after Spanish GP victory
After the win from Verstappen everyone came to congratulate him and one of them was Red Bull team principal Christian Horner. Horner praised Verstappen on how brilliantly he executed the race. Certainly, Max Verstappen was very happy to take victory in Barcelona, the race was tough in the beginning according to him. Perfect pit timings and communication made this all possible and helped Red Bull with it’s Seventh win of 2024 season. Fans were delighted by the performance from 26-year-old, scoring another 25 points this season.
