All has not been well within the Red Bull team during the ongoing 2024 F1 season. The outfit has been hit with one controversy after another and while Sergio Perez is currently going through a rough patch on track, he has shared a light-hearted/fun moment with his teammate, Max Verstappen.
The duo is well-known among the F1 community for their hilarious antics off-track within the F1 paddock. In line with this, they have again come up with a fun segment called ‘Guess the Driver.’

Their conversation is downright hilarious and it went like this.
Verstappen: Ah, he's very handsome. Very very popular with the ladies, they almost jump on top of him. You know, every time he walks into the paddock. Perez: George? Verstappen: He's very fast, he likes to show himself on Instagram a lot. Perez: George (laughs). Verstappen: He speaks Spanish, but is not from Spain. Perez: That's me! The fun banter between Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez does not come as a huge surprise. The duo shares an immensely healthy relationship and they are often seen supporting each other in difficult times. Since Perez’s 2024 woes got underway, Verstappen has always backed his 34-year-old teammate.
Sergio Perez determined to ‘fight in the front’ at Spa-Francorchamps
While Perez and Verstappen have recently shot a fun segment in the Belgian GP paddock, both of them are well aware of the on-track task at hand. The latter has a 10-place grid penalty for Belgian GP whereas Perez has not been in the best form.

However, despite this, the Mexican is determined to have a strong qualifying to have a shot at fighting at the front.

The Mclaren F1 team has risen as a mighty challenger to Red Bull in the world championship tussle this year. Moreover, while they are on the rise, Verstappen and Co. have been slowly falling back in terms of car performance.
The RB20 is no longer the fastest challenger on the 2024 grid and in recent races, has been pipped by McLaren and Mercedes to the top spot. Keeping in view everything that has been discussed, the upcoming Belgian GP qualifying session will be a fascinating watch for varied reasons.
