Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has been at the helm of several rumors since the start of the season. He is currently one of the most sought-after drivers due to his experience and skill in Formula 1.

Max Verstappen leads the championship this year, having won it consecutively over the past three years. He has, however, failed to win in any of the last eight races, and has been outpaced by the likes of McLaren and Ferrari.

Verstappen, however, has played down any rumors of a move away from the Milton Keynes outfit in the near future. The 26-year-old wishes to focus on the current issues rather than think about switching teams.

Yes, of course I know it’s possible, but I’m not really thinking about it at the moment. I think at the moment I have enough to worry about with other things that we want to do better. We’ll see what happens in the future.

Max Verstappen said in an exclusive interview with Autosport

The Dutchman’s successful run from the start has enabled him to hold on to his lead in the drivers’ championship. He must now make better efforts to deliver wins and podiums here on to clinch his fourth F1 title.

Helmut Marko claims Max Verstappen might consider options if Red Bull continue to underperform

Red Bull’s RB20 has been fairly contrary to their previous season’s dominant RB19. The Milton Keynes-based team has failed to resolve persistent issues with the RB20, which has concerned Helmut Marko.

Helmut Marko has confirmed the existence of a performance-related exit clause in Max Verstappen’s contract. The 81-year-old has thereafter urged the team to desperately provide the 27-year-old with a competitive package.

Most big drivers have exit clauses in their contract that are performance-related, and so does Max. So if we can’t give him a car to fight at the front, then it will definitely be something he will think about.

Helmut Marko said (via motorsport)

Several teams are rumored to be interested in acquiring Verstappen’s services, including Aston Martin and Mercedes. A continuance in Red Bull’s shortfalls might therefore lead to him wearing different overalls in the coming years.
