Max Verstappen and Red Bull found themselves in a difficult situation this season. Milton Keynes did not have the fastest car on the grid for the majority of 2024. However, Verstappen has now indicated that the Austrian team has some exciting plans in store for next year.

The four-time world champion acknowledged that the team did not have the strongest of stints during the middle of 2024. Max Verstappen suffered a four-month long winless streak during that period. Thankfully, Red Bull managed to turn things around in the final leg of the year.

We didn’t have a best, let’s say, middle of the season. End of the season was a bit more competitive.

I hope that when we hit the ground running next year, we can be competitive again and fight for the wins. But it will be very tight, I think, between a lot of teams now up front, which I think as a championship is great.
