“Fu*k’s sake,” Max Verstappen FURIOUS after having a turbulent Monza FP2 in his RB20
Max Verstappen had a very up and down outing during Friday's running in Monza.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen was visibly frustrated after an extremely difficult FP2 session at Monza. Verstappen topped the lap times in Free Practice 1 but failed to get to grips with the circuit thereafter, securing P14 in FP2.
Max Verstappen has been winless since the last five races this campaign. The 26-year-old leads the championship with a handsome advantage of 70 points but has been far from dominant in his efforts lately.
Red Bull’s RB20 experienced severe understeer during a push lap in FP2, compelling Verstappen to forfeit his attempt. The Milton-Keynes-based team heads into the Italian GP requiring a win against the likes of McLaren and Mercedes.

The three-time world champion will now analyze the issues with the RB20 with his team. Up next awaits a crucial qualifying session on Saturday, which will witness the various teams set impressive lap times around the temple of speed.
Max Verstappen shares his thoughts post-practice at the Italian GP
FP1 and FP2 gave the teams a clear idea of their performance around the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Max Verstappen has shed light on Red Bull’s strengths and weaknesses after the practice sessions.

Verstappen presented a mixed review of the RB20 post-Friday’s running. He claimed his car performed suitably along the long runs but struggled during the initial spells. The Dutchman also stressed on the team’s need to revisit a few configurations in the RB20 ahead of qualifying.
Both McLaren and Mercedes delivered good runs during the practice sessions at Monza. The Milton-Keynes-based team will have to tidy up on their shortfalls to wholly compete with its rivals from Saturday onward.
