Max Verstappen and Red Bull dominated Formula 1 at the start of the ground-effect era. However, things have changed this season. The Milton Keynes-based squad has fallen behind McLaren in the standings due to the newfound issues with the RB20.

Red Bull publicly admitted that the RB20 had balance issues recently. However, team boss Christian Horner has revealed that the first mistake was made as early as the 2023 Spanish GP. It was Max Verstappen‘s supreme driving skills that managed to hide these problems.

Now, the three-time world champion himself is struggling to get good results with a winless streak of seven races. Fans must recognize the fact that Verstappen is no less than a legend in modern Formula 1 history.

The Mexican driver has now claimed that Verstappen is finally in the same boat as him this season, highlighting that for any F1 driver, Red Bull was in a difficult state. However, it was Verstappen who was virtually untouched by car problems last season.

Certainly, Verstappen has proved yet again that he is a legend in the world of motorsport. The Dutch driver would be looking to further solidify his name by claiming his fourth title in a row.
