Aston Martin Team Principal Mike Krack has provided with an update on Lance Stroll’s future in the team. Krack confirmed the time has come and the team will have to communicate it’s plans for Stroll. Critics believe that the Canadian driver has not shown good performance since joining the sport in 2017 and how his father Lawrence Stroll‘s ownership of Aston Martin has kept him on the grid.

Mike Krack when asked about future of Lance Stroll, stated that the 25-year-old had shared his plan with the Luxembourger. There was a good communication regarding this situation, Krack claimed Aston Martin was Stroll’s home team, with a strong connection to the Canadian. Although, the Aston Martin team boss did not name Stroll’s father.

He [Stroll] has communicated the same to me. I think we are in a good exchange for this situation. We know that Aston Martin is Lance's home.

Krack hinted that the official announcement about Stroll’s future with the team would be made soon. This suggests that there’s a mutual understanding between Stroll and the team of him continuing to race with Aston Martin. The Canadian driver had joined the Silverstone team in 2019.

Lance Stroll was asked by the media on his plans for 2025, where he confirmed of staying in F1. The Canadian acknowledged this question was asked multiple times and he has to answer this. Stroll expressed the excitement of staying in sport and mentioned the developments happening within the Silverstone based team.

Yeah, that's where my head's at, for sure. Seems to be a pretty popular question that I've been getting asked recently. And yeah, it's super exciting. Everything that's happening at Silverstone and the project with the team and how we've grown over the last few years.

Stroll highlighted how the team has grown over the past few years and continues to improve. Because of this progress, the Canadian definitely wants to remain involved in the project and be a part of its future success.
