The 2024 F1 season is well into its ongoing summer break and while the on-track action has come to a halt, there hasn’t been much shortage of action outside of it. Recently it has come to light that Adrian Newey has reportedly signed a mega deal with Aston Martin.
While this news has got the world of F1 talking, the Aston Martin team principal, Mike Krack has asserted that the Silverstone-based outfit is a top team. He genuinely feels the work that’s been going on in Silverstone is truly world-class.
Billionaire Lawrence Stroll has heavily invested in the green-colored outfit in recent times.
Both Lance and Fernando have driven excellently this season in a car that has been difficult to drive. We have two world-class drivers, we need to give them a better car, and we will do that because we have a world-class team.Mike Krack via Aston Martin
Looking at Krack’s reaction, it is quite clear that he is extremely optimistic about Aston Martin’s future. Moreover, in Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso, he sees a perfect line-up that could take the team toward a bright future in the coming years.
Everyone is ‘giving their best’ at Aston Martin
While Krack has showered immense praise on his team, he has also made it known that everyone is working at full tilt during the ongoing campaign. As things stand, the outfit has proved to be the fifth-fastest team on the grid.

Moreover, in doing so, the team has amassed 73 points in the Constructors Championship.
I’m looking forward to the second half of the season and I’m proud of the team for the focus and determination they have shown. The mood is positive and everyone is giving their best.Mike Krack via the same interview
The second half of the 2024 season is set to kick off on the 23rd of August in Zandvoort at the Dutch Grand Prix. Aston Martin has work to do in terms of catching up to Ferrari and keeping this in view, it will be fascinating to see how much Krack and Co. would be able to improve the performance output of the AMR24.
