Logan Sargeant made his F1 debut with Williams in 2023. The Grove-based team had considered several drivers, including Mick Schumacher, before signing the American. Now, the 22-year-old has failed to live up to expectations with some underwhelming results, including his DNF at the Dutch GP. It seems that fans, including an airline, are taking a dig at Sargeant.
The American driver crashed out on Lap 16 of the Dutch GP, which forced him to retire the car. Ryanair’s official Twitter account decided to ridicule the 22-year-old with a hilarious meme. The meme has Mick Schumacher and Logan Sargeant inside of a Ryanair jet. The German driver asks Sargeant to move and says, “I think you’re in my seat.”
This was a direct take on rumors about Schumacher being in contention to replace Logan Sargeant. It is said that Mercedes is trying to convince the Grove-based team to sign the German driver in place of the 22-year-old. As such, a rookie mistake at Zandvoort would only make matters worse for the American driver.

Fans were astonished to see Ryanair mock Logan Sargeant
Fans on Twitter could not comprehend the Ryanair meme. Users were baffled to see the airline take such a dig at Logan Sargeant’s performance. One user wrote, “OHMYGOD admin.” Another user was surprised to find this tweet. The user replied, “Oh no you didn’t.” Moreover, one fan asked the Ryanair Twitter admin about this meme. The fan commented, “Admin what are you doing?”
Additionally, one user urged Ryanair to enter Formula 1 considering the airline’s Twitter activity in recent times. The user said, “Just enter F1 already.” While another fan praised the admin of the airline’s Twitter handle for making the meme right after Sargeant’s Dutch GP incident. The fan stated, “How are you so quick?”
Thus, Ryanair decided to take things to the next level with this hilarious meme. The Irish airline has often made memes related to Formula 1 in the past and has become a fan favorite. However, such a direct take on rumors of Logan Sargeant being replaced by Mick Schumacher was certainly a surprise for most fans on Twitter.
