“A broken car is part of it,” Sebastian Vettel stands up for Mick Schumacher amid criticism

Sebastian Vettel, Aston Martin driver, supported Mick Schumacher for the poor results he has been serving this season. Mick has been having a struggling year, the young german joined the sport in 2021 in the Haas F1 team, and had a decent year. But 2022 hasn’t been his year, he has yet to score his first points and has also been involved in crashes costing the team worth millions.
Critics in Formula 1 aren’t something new, Sebastian being encountered them throughout his career and supported Mick for the recent criticism the 23-year-old has been receiving. Seb understands the media critics and asked them to appreciate the driver when they perform well too, the Aston driver himself is going through a lot of critics lately for not winning a single race in the last three years.
Vettel understands Mick’s struggles with his driving, “At the beginning of the season we all drive on the limit. That the car can be destroyed is part of it. I think in such a situation you have to do everything to support the driver so that he feels comfortable. I know that from my own experience.” said Sebastian.

Rumours of Mick Schumacher’s being replaced.
Mick Schumacher joined the sport as a golden boy, someone everyone loved and was a commercial benefit for the Haas F1 team. But he is witnessing the dark side of the sport with all the pressure on his shoulders. He has been the only driver to not score any point till now this season other than Nicholas Latifi in the Williams, he also has to score his first points in his career.
Other than lack of points he has been causing the team lump of bills to pay for his mistakes. He has been into crashes in Saudi Arabia and Monaco where he almost broke his car in half, causing the Haas team millions of dollars. He also clashed with his mentor Sebastian in Miami losing his chance for his points. Considering the events there are rumours team has already started searching for a trade option to replace Mick, and it could be Oscar Piastri or Antonio Giovinazzi.
