Enzo Fittipaldi is the newest addition to the Red Bull driver academy, but as per the latest on him, it is a common belief that he has had brain surgery.

Pietro Fittipaldi, the brother of Enzo after the Abu Dhabi test while stressing about his brother’s crash added, “A lot of people don’t know but when I was doing the test here last year [F1 Abu Dhabi young driver test], and I got COVID.”

I stayed stuck in quarantine for 14 days, that’s when he flew back home and he actually had brain hemorrhaging and they found it out and went to the emergency room.

He had like very severe brain hemorrhaging so they had to do brain surgery on him and everything.”

Any kind of motor racing is dangerous, but the danger to life is extremely high when it comes to F3, F2, and especially F1.

Over the years, quite a few racing drivers have died because of crashes, and to see Enzo back doing his thing after his surgery, is something that deserves huge praise.

However, with this news now being out of the bag, it is going to be interesting to see how the Red Bull team will react to the situation.

Enzo is an up-and-coming racer, and to see him depart from racing because of his past injury would be a painful sight for everyone to see. Would he be allowed to carry on with the Red Bull team in F2 next year?
