The German driver is no longer racing in the sport for medical reasons, but the Brit still is. Moreover, Hamilton has joined the Maranello-based Ferrari F1 team from 2025 onwards in pursuit of the elusive eighth world title.

The Toto Wolff-led Mercedes team has struggled under the current set of regulations and this has prompted Lewis Hamilton to jump ship to Ferrari from next year onwards. However, despite the sensational move, there are no guarantees whether the 39-year-old will be able to achieve his goal with Ferrari, given Red Bull’s current dominance.
