Williams F1 team is on a good run of form at the pinnacle of motor racing. Alex Albon has performed exceptionally well in the FW45 and very recently, scored a hard-fought seventh-place finish at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza F1 circuit. But despite the terrific run that the team has been on, Albon has claimed that the British team will face difficulties from the Singapore GP onward.
Alex Albon believes the package Williams has got currently won’t be able to deliver strong results and William’s tough run will continue at least until the penultimate race of the season slated to take place at the famous Las Vegas strip. Before that, he does not see his team scoring points in the upcoming races.
While shedding light on the same in detail, he said, as reported by Soymotor, “We have taken a good step forward, but I am worried about circuits like Brazil and similar races, but I hope that now we are in a better situation. We needed the points in Monza because, in the next races, I don’t think we will have any chance, maybe until Las Vegas.”
Albon further assured the fans that he and the team will keep on pushing and will not take their foot off the accelerator. “We are better than last year, but above all, when the track heats up and the degradation is high, it costs us a lot. In Monza, it was difficult for us and it was a circuit in which we should have done well.”

Alex Albon has scored all 21 points for Williams in 2023
While Alex Albon has admitted that Williams is going to be in for a tough spell of races in the upcoming events, he has been the one who has single-handedly carried the burden of the team. The Grove-based outfit’s rookie driver, Logan Sargeant has had a pretty disappointing season so far.
The ongoing campaign is fourteen rounds down and the young American driver is yet to score even a single point, had Albon not been in the kind of form he currently is in, James Vowels would have had a hard time overtaking Haas and keeping them behind in the Constructors Championship.
Alex Albon has caught the eye of several people up and down the paddock this year and has amassed quite a lot of applause for his F1 exploits. He is currently 27-years-old and the way he has been honing his racing skills year after year, it could become difficult for Williams to keep hold of him in the coming years.
