The AlphaTauri F1 team has been in the headlines continuously since the end of the 2023 F1 season. Its driver, Daniel Ricciardo recently claimed that AlphaTauri is no longer a junior team but amidst all this, it has come to light that they will be using Red Bulls pull-rod suspension next year.
Red Bulls RB19 performed in a league of its own during the 2023 F1 season, and AlphaTauri is now going to have its pull-rod suspension on its 2024 car. They used the RB18’s rear suspension from this year’s Singapore GP onward and this gave the team a real boost in their 2023 battles.
The 2024 F1 season will see several changes getting implemented around the whole AlphaTauri team, from the change of its name to a total overhaul of its car, the Italian team is in for a major shake-up. It is believed that one of the major reasons behind a plethora of changes is to get the outfit out of Red Bulls’ shadow.

However, next year's car will NOT be a "copy and paste" of the RB19.
Helmut Marko will also have less influence on driver line-up. Details below:https://t.co/dRANGlbMaK
AlphaTauri’s new board is headed by, Oliver Minzlaff, who is leading the team toward a new direction. Minzlaff and his board of directors had the opportunity to sell the team for a billion dollars but they rejected the offer, moreover, from the next year onward, the influence of Christian Horner and Helmut Marko over the Faenza-based team will be significantly diminished.
Will AlphaTauri make up a significant step in 2024?
While the people at AlphaTauri have certain specific plans for the benefit of the team, it will be interesting to see how much of a step forward they will be able to make in 2024. Daniel Ricciardo has several times indicated that AlphaTauri will push its limits to the maximum next year.
Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo did a pretty good job behind the wheel of the AT04 in 2023 and considering this, it will be fascinating to see how they would perform during next year’s campaign. If AlphaTauri can produce a potent car, then the duo will surely be seen fighting for the top 10 positions regularly.

AlphaTauri has been Red Bull’s junior team since its inception and has done the duties of providing them with proper F1 drivers. However, with a new dawn just around the corner, the team is preparing for a major shake-up that could change the landscape of the team from next year onward.
