The carnival of F1 has reached Italy for the Imola GP. The excitement is uncontrollable after three rounds of captivating and enchanting racing which has transfixed the fans. But, we all know Imola GP is a totally different affair and nothing can be taken for granted as we saw in qualifying. The weather makes it challenging and as well as tricky for the drivers and the team principals.

We had a total of 5 red flags in a difficult session for the drivers for various reasons. We saw Max Verstappen take pole and Christian Horner must be delighted of that fact. But, he will also be wary of the fact that we actually didn’t get to see the real pace of the drivers because of the stoppages. The sprint can be a whole different ball game and Charles Leclerc would be out there to set things right.

The life of a Team Principal is as difficult as it gets because of all the expectations of delivering the results owing to the ridiculous amount of money spent on each team. But amidst such pressure, it’s equally important for them to loosen themselves or this could be a job very difficult to handle. We saw a glimpse of the same before the Imola GP as the team Principals took a night off from all the action and took it easy along with their peers.

After an interesting qualifying, we were able to get the reaction of Christian Horner post qualifying. He said, “Verstappen did a super job.”

It was an unusual qualifying. The one lap that counted was thankfully the one lap we banked. It looked at the end the circuit would go quick.

Too much rain for anyone to respond and another red flag. Shame for Checo,” as reported by gpblog.

It’s been an intense three weeks of racing and it was pleasing to see all the Team Principals unwind themselves. But this will all go away once the sprint race gets under way. We shall see a different version of them during the race.
