Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton has already been affected by Covid twice since its rise in 2020. Covid-19 affected the world majorly in 2020 with such high impact that it stopped the world for two years in a go. While the world is still trying to recover from the aftermath of the pandemic, it seems it’s back on the rise affecting people around again. Though things are lighter now Covid can mark a dent in your professional life, mainly when you are a sportsman.

Back in 2020 Formula 1 came out with its calendar of 17 races, it was meant to be a dominant season for Mercedes as they won 13 of the 17 races. Lewis Hamilton came out victorious but was later affected by Covid in Bahrain but luckily was already declared that Seasons champion. But things were different last season, with his fight for the eighth title he got a run for his money after he was challenged and defeated by Max Verstappen. Lewis was again affected by Covid before the Hungarian GP, but he still managed to fight his way into the race. Hamilton talked about being in precaution this time around as he doesn’t want to be affected by Covid the third time around.

Peter Bonington wasn’t present in Austrian GP, and it was later confirmed that he was positive for Covid, this pushed Lewis Hamilton to wear the mask again around the paddock to keep precautions against the virus and get caught for the third time around.

With no more rules for compulsory mask usage around the paddock, things might not get well if teams see a rise in Covid again. The 37-year-old still is very worried about the conditions with no such role this time in the championship.
