The 2017 Spanish Grand Prix is often remembered for this wholesome moment between a young fan and Kimi Raikkonen. After colliding with Max Verstappen and Valtteri Bottas, Raikkonen had to retire from the race due to damages gained. However, Kimi, known for his calm composure, did not seem fazed by it.

But, a young boy who appeared to be a Ferrari fan did not take it as lightly as Kimi. The fan was spotted bawling over the retirement of his favorite driver. However, to the child’s fortune, the Scuderia got hold of him, and he had a chance to meet his hero. Kimi adorably consoled the boy, and this incident instantly went viral on social media.

Disheartened by Ferrari’s lack of consistency, this former Ferrari fan this year was pictured donning Red Bull merch at a Grand Prix Race. Time and again, Ferrari has let their fans down due to driver errors, ridiculous strategy calls, etc. Few diehard fans still follow the Scuderia, this kid, however, after six years, ditched Ferrari and opted for Red Bull.

Ferrari is always a huge topic of conversation on social media, especially after they make silly errors. Fans quickly expressed their views on this young boy’s change of heart. But looking at Red Bull’s dominance this year, no one would blame him for switching from Ferrari

“He has finally found happiness,” one user tweeted, referring to the relief the boy may have felt after becoming a Red Bull fan. Many fans echoed the same emotion in their Tweets. “At least he’s happy now,” another user tweeted, while a different user said, “bro got happier,”.

One Twitter user boldly accused the kid of betrayal. “Biggest betrayal ever,” they Tweeted. While some could not understand why didn’t the young boy grow up since 2017. “IT’S THE SAME BOY?” They tweeted. “Your boy has also invented time travel, now the government is after him,” one user Tweeted in disbelief.
