Fred Vasseur gets appointed as Ferrari's new team principal

After months of speculation and rumours, it has been confirmed today that Alfa Romeo Sauber team principal Fred Vasseur will be departing the team and joining Ferrari as their new team principal and general manager. Today we got to witness a crazy silly season and it wasn’t because of the F1 drivers but due to the team principal’s instead.

After being at the helm of Ferrari for 4 years, it was clear to the Italian squad that change was imminent. With Max Verstappen and Red Bull stealing the show in the 2022 season, Ferrari was left with no championships yet again. After working with the team for multiple years, Binotto wasn’t able to bring title glory to the Scuderia so this situation was imminent.
