F1 looks set to host the Canadian GP in less than a week’s time after what was an incredibly fast weekend on the streets of Baku. It was predicted that we could get some intense racing in Azerbaijan and we certainly weren’t disappointed as we saw interesting battles all over the grid, full of bold overtaking maneuvers on very tight corners.

The highlight of the show was Max Verstappen who drove like a man on mission after his disappointments of last week and also last year at the same circuit. The reigning world champion showed everyone who was the boss on the track as he comprehensively won his 5th race of the season beating Sergio Perez and George Russell who finished P2 and P3 respectively.

But, this race could have been even more interesting had the two Ferraris not retired out of the race due to technical reasons. Charles Leclerc definitely looked in the mix to challenge the Red Bull but took a major dent in his title credentials.

But, the Monegasque driver doesn’t have a lot of time to heal from that as the action is coming thick and fast with the Canadian GP in less than a week’s time.
