“Can’t find the balance between front and rear,” Max Verstappen “not satisfied” after finishing behind teammate Sergio Perez

Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen has not looked at ease ever since landing in Azerbaijan and after Qualifying has blamed the car balance for finishing behind Charles Leclerc and teammate Sergio Perez.
Verstappen has struggled at street circuits during the current season and Azerbaijan qualifying is another example of that. The new regulations have forced the drivers to tweak their driving styles and with the new cars, the Dutchman has sometimes found it difficult to turn the car as per his expectations.
While talking about the problem after Qualifying Verstappen said, “We have to make a step so that I will feel better in the car. Because at the moment that’s not the case.”
Verstappen wants to get on top of his problem as quickly as possible because he has got Leclerc and Perez to give him company at the top end of the Drivers Championship.
Max Verstappen: “For me, it works out less”

Max Verstappen is not happy with the current situation that he has found himself in and has admitted that the new generation cars have suited his teammate Perez way more compared to him.
Sergio Perez was able to win in Monaco which is a street circuit and was quicker than Verstappen during all three days of the event. The same has happened in Azerbaijan as Perez has been quicker than Verstappen during the first two days of the Azerbaijan GP.
Verstappen has struggled on street circuits and wants a car that turns well so that he can spread the magic that he is known for.

While dwelling deeper on the Azerbaijan Qualifying Verstappen said, “At the moment I can’t find the balance between front and rear. The new cars are built with a different philosophy than the past seasons. For me, that works out less, yes.”
Given what Verstappen has said, tomorrow it is going to be fascinating to see how well the 24-year-old is able to perform against the upbeat Perez and Leclerc.
