Underwent a smooth operation today and I’m feeling much better! Thank you for all your kind messages and to everyone that has looked after me these days here in Saudi, specially at the King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital. THANK YOU. Great Quali from Ollie Bearman on his hasty debut (not easy at all) and from Lord Perceval (a.k.a. Charles Leclerc)

Carlos Sainz’s recent message has got class written all over it. On one hand, he has revealed that he has had a successful surgery and has thanked the hospital where he was operated on, and secondly, he has showered praise on the 18-year-old Bearman for his exploits during the qualifying session. Keeping in view that there are over 10-12 days of break after the Saudi weekend, Sainz could be available to take part in the Australian GP weekend if he can make a full recovery. However, at the same time, it will not be in his best interest to not push himself too much, as it could add a few more days into his recovery program.

Carlos Sainz got the 2024 F1 season underway in prime fashion during the Bahrain Grand Prix where he scored a brilliant third-place finish. Whenever he makes a return to the sport in a racing capacity, he will have several eyes glued on him. Sainz’s fans will be curious to see how he will perform after making a full recovery.
