Spanish driver Carlos Sainz achieved one victory in the 2023 season. This made him the only non Red-Bull driver to win a race in the 2023 season. However, the 29-year-old highlights his frustrations from the mediocre challenger of this season and urges the Maranello for a better car, which is capable of winning races for the following season.

Carlos Sainz laid out his requirements for the next season from Ferrari and claimed that all he asked was for a car to win races. Additionally, the 29-year-old that reckoned that it doesn’t matter if they win or not, but he renounced his desire for a car capable of winning races in 2024. He wanted to get into a race thinking that he can achieve victory in any race.

In 2024 I ask for a car to win, If we win or not, then let it be what God wants. But I ask for a car to win and that I can go out to each race thinking that I can achieve victory.

In addition to this, Sainz also asserted that he was in the best place possible to become a world champion in F1. In addition to this, the Spaniard also revealed the pressure of racing for Ferrari and how he’s practically racing for the entire country. Further, Chilli also highlighted that he was training to become a world champion in F1.

Carlos Sainz pondered over his main motivation in Ferrari

Carlos Sainz has been in Ferrari since the 2021 season and is also confirmed to be in the team atleast till the end of 2024. However, being in Ferrari and losing out races on multiple occasions, had people wonder about his position at Ferrari. Sainz addressed these questions and claimed that he had a lot of years ahead of him racing in red.

In addition to this, Sainz also put out his main motivation to be in Maranello, which was to become a World Champion. It would be even better if he achieved this goal with Ferrari and asserted that the team would try their best for a shot at the championship title for the Spaniard. The Maranello has enough capacity and capability to achieve this according to Sainz.

The Scuderia is working towards improvement and development continuously ever since the downfall in 2023. Ferrari aims at creating a much better car in 2024, and improve the stability issues for the team and have a fair shot at the Championship contention for both the drivers as well a Constructor’s championship for the following season.
