During the NBA match between the LA Lakers and the Portland Blazers at the Crypto.com Arena in California, spectators spotted Formula 1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Esteban Ocon together. Both the drivers attended the matchup and met up with the Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade in the same match.
The LA Lakers emerged victorious and defeated the Portland Blazers in the match, and the players were chatting with both F1 drivers before the matchup. It seems the drivers supported the Lakers in the matchup between them and the Portland Blazers.
The two drivers were seen chatting happily with the Miami Heat Legend Dwayne Wade. Wade is a former basketball player with an impressive height of 1.93 meters (193cm or 6’4), with Esteban Ocon at around 1.86m (186cm or 6’1) and Charles Leclerc at just 1.8m (180cm or 5’10). Ocon exclaimed how he fell short compared to Wade in the short clip of them together.
In the same clip, Leclerc also looks comically at Ocon and gives a ‘side-eye’ look as he is also shorter than both of them. The clip is humorous as, even though all three sportsmen are relatively tall, they talk about feeling shorter than one another. The three athletes then hugged, exchanged daps, and chatted.

Ironically, Esteban Ocon is one of the tallest drivers on the F1 grid right now, and yet he exclaimed that he felt shorter as compared to Dwayne Wade. Finally, Esteban Ocon gifted one of his race helmets to the legend Wayne, and the three took pictures together in the arena.
The two drivers also met the Legend LeBron James before the match
The two drivers clicked pictures with multiple famous personas on the basketball court. Ocon also took pictures with the Lakers’ cheerleading squad and other team players. The F1’s finest also met the LA Lakers legend LeBron James before the matchup between the two teams.
Esteban Ocon gifted one of his race helmets to LeBron James which he signed. Subsequently, Charles Leclerc comically added that he wasn’t aware of meeting James in the Arena, and that’s why he forgot to bring a special gift for the Basketball player.
Finally, Ocon asked LeBron about visiting an F1 race soon, to which James replied that he would probably visit the Las Vegas GP, which is upcoming this weekend. The drivers then took pictures with the fans and called it a day in the Californian Basketball court.
