Charles Leclerc had a brilliant Qualification even after the mistake he committed at the start of Q3. Ferrari driver managed to get on pole and start ahead of Max Verstappen on P2.

Leclerc managed to get his time under 1:18’s, which any other driver barely touched on track.

Charles made a huge blunder at the start of Q3 which didn’t let him complete that lap. He spun his car on turns 14-15 chicane and had to run back to the garage. On the other hand, Max managed to get his car on the provisional pole with a brilliant lap time of 1:19.073, which was the lap time we saw over the Qualifications.

Leclerc got out of the garage with 3 mins left and only had the time to get that one perfect lap to get on the pole. He managed to get a green sector 1 and the rest of the two purple sectors acing that to 1:18.750 and taking his fourth pole.

With Max also having some problems, he didn’t get to get his second run only managing P2 0.323 seconds behind Leclerc. With Sainz managing to finish P3 it’s a Ferrari sandwich for the race tomorrow.

With Charles Leclerc on pole and Max Verstappen on second, we have a Ferrari Red Bull front row. Sainz backing a P2 and Russell manage to get his Mercedes P3 we have a Ferrari and an improved Mercedes for the second row.

Sergio Perez had been struggling over the weekend and only managed P5 and Hamilton after a promising start managed P6. Bottas had an amazon run and managed to get his Alfa Romeo on P7 beside Haas’s new driver for the season 2022 Kevin Magnussen. Daniel Ricciardo managed to beat his team and finished P9 and for the first time, Mick Schumacher got into Q3 and finished his best ever P10.
