The 26-year-old Charles Leclerc has been facing very unlucky recent times. The Monegasque was forced to retire from the Brazilian GP before the race even began. As Leclerc crashed on the formation lap. Although the issue has not been fully revealed, the Brazilian GP proved to be another disappointing weekend for Leclerc.
Leclerc impressively qualified P2 for the Brazilian GP’s main race. Ahead of the remaining races and the following season, Charles Leclerc has hinted towards a religious pilgrimage to get a bit of luck. This suggestion was seen as a silly and drastic solution for the unlucky spell. The 26-year-old chose the French town of Lourdes for this devotional visit.

This suggestion proves that even Leclerc is aware of the unlucky spell that he’s been facing currently. The competition with Mercedes is very close to turning in Ferrari’s favor. The team needs to immediately do something about it.

The Maranello-based team is in fierce competition with Mercedes. The point disparity between the two teams has been cut short to just 20 points now. The Sunday race was crucial for the team to gain essential points for the constructor’s championship.
Leclerc’s DNF from the race resulted in Carlos Sainz carrying the team’s competition against Mercedes. The Ferrari team also seems to be facing some issues with their strategies and pit stops in addition to Leclerc’s unlucky spell.
The team along with its drivers Sainz and Leclerc has shown amazing improvement over the recent race weekends. Despite the unlucky incidents during the race, The drivers are looking hopeful of scoring points overcoming the point difference with Mercedes, and securing the second spot in the constructors’ championship this season.
