F1 Bahrain GP: “Charles needs to leave Ferrari”- Twitter erupts as Charles Leclerc bows out of 2023 season opener with engine failure
F1 twitter has reacted to Charles Leclerc bowing out of the first race of the 2023 F1 season with a DNF.
Charles Leclerc
Charles Leclerc has just bowed out of the Bahrain GP with an engine issue. The Monegasque was looking all set for at least a podium finish. However, calamity struck on lap 41, ending his first outing of the 2023 F1 season. While the Ferrari F1 Team has once again looked in absolute shambles, fans all around the World are having great fun at the expense of the Maranello-based team.
With the first race of the 2023 season out of the way, Charles Leclerc is already on the back foot compared to Max Verstappen. While the Dutchman has scored 25 points in Bahrain, Leclerc has come away with zero points.
Charles Leclerc wants to fight for the Championship this year, and considering this fact, he’s had the worst possible start. However, the season has just got underway, and there are still 22 races left. Moving forward, it is going to be absolutely crucial for Leclerc and Ferrari to avoid DNFs as much as possible. Last year, the team’s progress was hindered by it in the fight for the Championship, and they certainly won’t want a repeat of that this year.

The fans have come up with hilarious reactions, and some of them are as follows:
Looking at the fans’ reactions, it is absolutely clear that they have not held back in any way and have absolutely bashed the Ferrari F1 team. While fans are laughing, the team has got no one else to blame but themselves.
Reliability was a major issue for the team last year, and it has again proven to be their Achilles heel. The only thing that has gone right for them in Bahrain is the fact that Carlos Sainz has managed a respectable P4 finish for the team.
Red Bull has started the 2023 F1 season strong, and with the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix next up on the F1 calendar, the onus is going to be on Ferrari to bounce back strong. Otherwise, Max Verstappen and Red Bull could again disappear into the distance as far as the Championship is concerned. Would the Maranello-based team be able to put up a strong fight in the next race?
