The season’s end marked a remarkable season for the three-time world champion Max Verstappen. The Dutchman mustered a record-breaking 19 victories in the season and hence shattered multiple records. Christian Horner commented on this untouched performance from Verstappen this season.

The British Boss talked about the performance of Verstappen and exclaimed that he kept on growing as a driver and as a human being. He highlighted how the Dutchman always had speed and skills and how he further rounded the skills with his experience. Additionally, Christian Horner exclaimed that his capacity was outstanding amongst other things.

He’s just grown and grown as a driver and as a human being, I think the speed and skill has always been there. He’s just rounded it with experience now. And the capacity that he has within the car to be taking on and thinking about other things is outstanding.

The 51-year-old kept on lauding Verstappen with compliments after compliments as he deserved every one of them. Horner highlighted how Verstappen read the race perfectly and nursed the tires perfectly. All-in-all, the 26-year-old driver was a complete driver for the team solely for his dominant performance this season.

Christian Horner lauded Max Verstappen as the best driver in Formula 1

The Briton was not at all hesitant in continuously appreciating Verstappen for his performance, and rightly so. Horner claimed that the Dutchman, without a shadow of a doubt, was the very best driver in Formula 1. Additionally, he talked about his special talent and how he yielded great results for the Milton-Keynes outfit of Red Bull.

However, Horner did appreciate Sergio Perez’s efforts for the team as well. After scoring a first-ever one-two in the driver’s standings, Horner cheered over the massive feat. He commented how Max had been out of the world in terms of his performance and how Checo also did a great job down the season.

Winning 21 out of a total of 22 races in a single season is a massive achievement for any constructor. Horner called the season an unbelievable season for the team as they shattered the majority of the records in Formula 1. The team will rightly be proud of themselves after executing a successful season in a weapon of a car.
