Christian Horner and Red Bull have been delighted having come to Silverstone after winning their 101st GP with Max Verstappen. The team has been showcasing dominant performances each and every race this season. It seem like they will be hard to beat. On the other hand, that paddock has been hit by another surprise in the form of Williams Racing.
Albon has stated that he himself doesn’t know how he finished in the top 3 during both the practice sessions till now. Williams Racing on their 800th GP seems to have found their mojo again. However, it will be a test of time to see how long it will last. So far, the team seems to be in a good position as they finished FP2 in P3 with Alex Albon and P5 with Logan Sargeant. This had left the paddock in an absolute shock.
Christian Horner has also stated that Williams could be a threat this weekend. Here is what the Red Bull team principal had to say to the media. “It’s super impressive. Not just Alex, but both their guys. I don’t know what you have been doing [Jenson Button]. It’s not just there quali pace, but long runs as well. They could be in the mix in the group behind,” he concluded.

Christian Horner thinks Williams could fight at the top this weekend
Williams has had a great run so far this weekend where it has gone to a point that Christian Horner is appreciating them. It was expected that Silverstone won’t be as suitable to the car compared to Canada but it seems like the calculations were wrong. “We don’t (know) either, so … I’d be lying to say it’s not surprising,” Alex Albon said. “Obviously we’re not doing anything special. It’s strange, because, without sounding pessimistic, it doesn’t feel too great out there for us — but it clearly must feel worse for the others,” he continued.
Christian Horner and Red Bull are at the top of the world right now which includes the drivers and constructors standings. Red Bull has won every single race this season and they seem to have come prepared to execute the same. The Dutchman’s points tally of 229 is a mega feat itself. It will be interesting to see if the reigning world champion can brake his curse to become the best yet again. i’m
