Christian Horner praised Max Verstappen‘s consistent performance, which secured Red Bull’s second consecutive constructors’ championship and Verstappen’s third WDC title.

Horner specifically highlighted Verstappen’s remarkable confidence in all racing conditions, including wet tracks, changing weather, and safety car situations. He admired Verstappen’s ability to quickly adapt to the car and stay confident.

“I just think the self-belief, the self-confidence he has in himself to go out and nail it, to go out and deliver. We’ve seen it in the wet, we’ve seen it on out laps, we’ve seen it in changing conditions. His ability to be at one with the car, and the confidence in himself, and the self-belief as I say is absolutely standout,” said Christian Horner.

Verstappen has also talked about his traits earlier in the season. He revealed that he does not take a lot of pressure before a race and stays very cool. His carefree attitude and confidence in himself is what has led him to take his third title home.

Christian Horner reveals his thoughts on Liam Lawson before Daniel Ricciardo’s apparent return

Liam Lawson had got his dream start in F1 at Zandvoort. After Daniel Ricciardo injured his hands, Lawson came in with just one practice session in his hand. Along with that, the race was full of changing weather conditions, giving Lawson a good taste of the new challenges. The rookie scored his first F1 points within just three races in Singapore. Red Bull chief Christian Horner recently gave his opinion for the Kiwi.

Horner appreciated Lawson’s quick adaptability to the competition. He claimed that Lawson had caught the attention of everyone over at Milton Keynes. As for his future, Horner said that this is not the end of Lawson’s career in F1. Red Bull had earlier announced Lawson to be the reserve driver for Red Bull in 2024.

“I think he’s done a great job… He’s acquitted himself well as a grand prix driver, I think he’s caught all our attention in terms of the job he’s done. It certainly won’t be his last race in F1 with what he’s done in these five races,” said Horner.
