Christian Horner, the Red Bull team principal, has been in the headlines in recent times for all the wrong reasons. Horner has an inappropriate behavior investigation hanging over his head and amidst his ongoing tussle, he has reportedly decided to take legal action against the Dutch publication, The Telegraaf.
It has come to light that The Telegraaf, as reported by FormulaPassion, is the one responsible for revealing sensitive information regarding Christian Horner’s inappropriate behavior investigation. Telegraaf reported the Horner news on 2nd February.
Moreover, was the one responsible for revealing that Horner attempted to silence everything by offering a large sum of money to the employee in question who claims to have received inappropriate messages.
Seeing all the noise, the Red Bull boss is not at all pleased with the Dutch publication and thus, has reportedly decided to take legal action against them. However, nothing concrete regarding this has come out yet.
Christian Horner has repeatedly denied all the allegations
While Christian Horner is getting bashed from all angles because of the ongoing inappropriate behavior investigation, he has repeatedly denied all the allegations against him.
On the occasion of presenting Red Bull’s RB20 on the 15th of February, he said, as reported by FormulaPassion:
I deny all accusations made against me. But naturally I am collaborating with the investigations, which I hope will be concluded in the near future. I was with Jos and Max a few days ago at Silverstone. Max is completely focused on his work and supports me a lot.
Looking at the reaction of the 50-year-old, it is quite clear that while he is denying all the allegations, he has also made it known that he has the support of the Red Bull team behind him. In order to add more weight to his comments, he revealed that Max Verstappen also supports him in his ongoing tough times.
